The opening lab scene. This shot was done in a 3-D software program called Bryce. If you watch movies like "When Worlds Collide" and "War of the Worlds" you'll notice that they used paintings for some of the exterior shots. We tried to make the mountains look like a painting and the actual lab is a model.
